Meet the Expert:

Account Manager
The secret to a great brand is...
Balancing emotional links with functional benefits.
What do you like most about working at IMRE?
The people—my co-workers and clients—are among the best in the industry. My coworkers
push me to be a better professional. They are hardworking, thoughtful, supportive, trustworthy and make me
laugh. I also appreciate the relationship we have with our clients. We know each other as people and not just
workers. It makes for a much stronger working relationship when you really understand each other.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
My favorite weekend plans include spending time with friends and family. We like to go
to the movies, make dinner, play games and just hang out. My husband and I also make a point to go on a
trip once a year—usually to the Caribbean. I’d like to go to Europe next so we’re toying with the idea of
London for the next summer Olympics.
What frustrates you the most?
Lateness—in work, in life, in anything. Being on time shows people that you care. Sure,
once in a while running late is unavoiddable, but it drives me bonkers as a consistent bad habit.
What’s your favorite TV program and your least favorite?
My favorite is hands-down Grey’s Anatomy. I enjoy the drama, the love stories, and the
characters. I like that it’s on Thursday night—which means we’re one day away from the weekend. My least
favorite is America’s Top Model, especially when MTV runs back-to-back episodes.
Tell us about your pets.
I’ve had a stuffed dog named Shubby since I was 2 years old. My dad bought him for me
on one of his business trips, and Shubby’s been with me ever since. I’ve never had a real pet, but my
husband is pushing for a dog someday soon.
What was growing up like for you?
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania with my parents and three brothers. During the
summers, we’d spend a lot of time at the community swim club with friends. We would take family vacations
to either Ocean City, MD or Disney World. Close family and friends were always around so there were always
people to play with as a kid; I was fortunate to grow up with a lot of friends. I love that I’m still
friends with many of those people.
What talent do you wish you had?
I’ve always wanted to be able to sing well. Sadly, I can’t carry a tune, so I won’t be
headlining any concert hall anytime soon.
What’s your favorite sports team?
The Philadelphia Eagles. I’m married to a die-hard Eagles fan, so we go to at least one
game every year. And we watch the games on TV every Sunday during the season—bedecked in team jerseys, of course.
