What got you into this business in the first place?
I started out as a coder because I love the logic of it and the reward of finding solutions to tough technology problems.
What attracted you to IMRE?
The people, the energy, and the passion. IMRE doesn't follow the leads of others. We question and evaluate everything for the betterment of our clients and ourselves.
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients?
My method is simple. Gather as much information from the client as possible and then present that information to others to process and provide ideas and feedback.
I don't develop solutions in a vacuum. The stronger and more integrated our team, the better the ideas...
What talent do you wish you had?
Anything related to creativity! I find it amazing that designers can take the requirements that I gather from a client and create the perfect design every time.
I'm lucky to be surrounded by talented, creative people.
If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most?
If it were truly deserted, I would miss interacting with humans the most.
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively?
I'm a complete chocoholic. If someone brings me chocolate, then they can pretty much get me to drop anything for them. Hopefully none of my co-workers
are reading this...
Tell us about your pets.
I'm a strong advocate for the "bully" breeds. My husband and I rescued a Pit Bull who is the sweetest animal and a great ambassador for the
breed. There is a misconception that Pit Bulls are universally mean to both dogs and humans. The dogs aren't the problem—the humans who train them to fight are the problem.
What do you do for a good time outside of work?
I play many different sports with my husband and friends. From an intense game of floor hockey to a silly game of kickball, sports have always been for me
a great way to socialize and stay active.
